About Us:
"Assam Tea Corporation" was formed in the year 1976 in association of "Tea Board of India" to facilitate the Small Tea growers & Small Tea Factories to sell their processed teas across the globe directly without the intervention of the tedious auction process which is not suitable for dealing with small quantities.
During these years the "Assam Tea Corporation" has facilitated various tea packagers and importers across numerous location across the globe to procure Assam Teas.
In the year 2019, Assam Tea Corporation decided to enter the packaged Teas segment considering the misuse of the name "the assam tea" by various tea packagers in India, the decision was welcomed by the "Tea Board board of india" and accordingly the "Assam Tea Corporation" signed the packaging rights agreement with BB Industries (Assam) to pack the authentic Assam Tea blends in the brand Name - "aromatique" in Indian consumer market.
Currently "Aromatique" teas has been successfully launched in Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Aurnachal Pradesh & West Bengal. The corporation is optimistic to have its PAN India Presence by the end of 2028.

Currently the corporation is catering the North Eastern Market through general Trade, and is operating through its owned transit hubs. The corporation has proposed to enter into channel distribution in rest of India and looking for potential distributors to reach out to masses.
